Job Description & Requirements
**Job Summary:**
Troxus USA, a leading player in the electric bike industry, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations in Vista, California. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, hold Hazmat and Forklift certifications, and demonstrate a working knowledge of basic shipping and order management software.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Warehouse Operations:**
- Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping electric bike components and finished products.
- Implement and optimize inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Hands on active management.
2. **Team Leadership:**
- Supervise and motivate warehouse staff to achieve productivity and quality targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the warehouse team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
3. **Compliance and Safety:**
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hazardous materials handling procedures.
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety protocols.
- Manage and update safety data sheets for hazardous materials.
4. **Certifications and Training:**
- Maintain and validate Hazmat and Forklift certifications for self and warehouse staff.
- Provide ongoing training to ensure the team's adherence to safety and certification standards.
5. **Order Processing and Shipping:**
- Utilize shipping and order management software to process outgoing orders and manage shipments.
- Implement best practices for efficient order fulfillment and accurate shipping.
- Utilize and manage freight partners to minimize shipment cost.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Liaise with other departments, including Logistics, Customer Service, and Manufacturing, to streamline communication and workflow.
- Collaborate with the technical team for the efficient handling of electric bike components.
**Requirements:**
- **Leadership and Management Skills:**
- Proven experience in leading and managing warehouse teams.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- **Certifications:**
- Hazmat and Forklift certifications are mandatory.
- **Software Proficiency:**
- Working knowledge of basic shipping and order management software.
- Ability to adapt to new software and technology platforms.
- **Communication Skills:**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
- **Problem Solving:**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the electric bike or similar industry.
**Education:**
- High school degree or equivalent
